There is a feature that enables/disabled automatic sensing of your
presence in the home. If Nest thinks you are away, it sets down the
temperature. I turned off this feature and am enjoying much more
consistent heating.
I think I’m okay. I think the issue was the Nest sensor that was setting
my status to away based on activity. Once I turned it off I have not had
any problems with large temperature swings.

I’m experiencing a 3 degree gap actual versus desired before heat
engages. This thermometer is too expensive for this differential
adjustment feature to not exist. It must be so easy to program. Why does
it not exist?
