Unit serial number: 01040YCAB0ET8PUnfortunately the warranty expired in 2021. Is it still possible Google would replace the unit?

Is it possible that I can provide some evidence of the failure without having to return it in the US (or return it in the EU), then I could provide a colleague's address to receive the replacement unit on my behalf in US (or EU)?
