I still need to do more testing, but so far my chromecast with google TV hasn't disconnected from my 5Ghz network since changing the channel width. you can close it if you want.

yeah; chromecast hasn't dropped from my 5Ghz network since I changed the channel width from "auto" to "40Mhz". I haven't tested going back to auto yet.

I just changed the channel width from Auto to 40Mhz. I'm going to try it out and see if that works.

Thanks. i don't see an option for band steering. I do have my 5ghz set for 802.1 n and 802.1 acI have channel width set to Auto.All my other 5ghz devices are fine. My wireless router isn't too far from the Chromecast
