I guess the solution has been to buy a new one. It did work out in the
end but by looking at the internals it seems something on the battery
that affects the thermostat.
Hi Jake,I kept having issues with it, tried to reset and even opened it
up to see if there was anything obvious. I ended up buying a new one

This seems to be a common and recent issue ... not entirely sure what
the cause it but it's very annoying to have the set the house
temperature to 25 because technology is failing us.
Same here ... I wonder if Google's plan is to freeze us to death to save
global warming. 藍I had to change my overall temperature setting from 21
degrees to 27 ... just to have around 21 at the house. This is almost
certainly a software issue.
