Here we talking about the Google Nest WiFi Points and it's like you are referring to a Google WiFi Mesh. The Google Nest WiFi Points doesn't have a port for cable.

Do factory reset the Google Nest WiFi Point and update the Google Home app.

The Google Nest WiFi Point need to be reset with a Factory reset with thesmall button underneath the Google Nest WiFi Point.

For anyone who still have or had this issue. Google have fix the issue. The Google Nest Wifi Router can create a WiFi-mesh with the Google Nest WiFi Point.The update is not for the Google Home app for Android, the Google Nest Wifi Point is updated.
