Google Nest Community

So I'm assuming Google's silence on this issue is their way of telling us 2 things:1. They don't know the answer.2. "Just drop $180 on the new doorbell, and move on" 

This happens with me too. It's awkward that somebody rings my doorbell and I'm sitting staring at my phone for 45 seconds to see who it is 
