You have to set back the date of your mobile device. I had also to
restart it. Then open the app and look for the chromecast to set it up.
It will connect to your wifi, but you cant select it. Set the real date.
Wait a few hours and try again. Worked...

(I realy like Chromecast Audio, it brings my old studio speakers back to
life.)
Why is that so difficult? I assume that pretty much all users have
carried out a factory reset. This means that the device has its own
WLAN, which is recognised by the Home app. It should be possible to
