I am also having this issue. It is especially difficult since I often
have more than one timer running at one time. It plays the theme to
start with, but not when the timer goes off. I cook a lot and rely on
the themed timers to keep myself on track....
I have also noted that the alternative timer sounds have stopped across
all my Google home devices. Similarly to the other users, if I set a
timer for chicken it will make the chicken sound when the timer is set.
But when the timer is complete and go...
