I eventually connected to my new device. My point is that the above instructions are not complete. They do not say check the password used is correct. Even better they do not mention that spaces at either end of the password would be invisible.

The link did not say what I said. I think it needs updating to say check that you are using the correct password.

I had this problem. I was using the incorrect password. I could not see the space in the password I entered for the wi-fi. When I removed the space everything was ok.Check for spaces in the password. This is harder than what it seems.
