I want to thank the customers who advised me on the installation of the
two Nest doorbells and I want to chastise Google / Nest for not
publishing proper information or having actual tech support phone number
to call. the problem was lack of amperage...
Since I have 2 doorbells, I’m going to wire a second transformer as I
suspect the single transformer is having a problem with the load of 2
bells and 2 nest cams …..I’ll update in a few days
I’m using a 40 MV transformer and my outside nest cameras are lit up and
functioning properly ….making controllable doorbell noises outdoors when
pushed, but nothing indoors the doorbells worked before I installed the
