We have moved to a new home. Please visit the Google Home & Nest Community to connect with other users, ask questions, and explore the new space.
That was my first thought. However, depending on the default device
communication, they might not be cross platform read enabled or some
default configuration may have been altered inadvertently.
More than likely, your tv has Chromecast built in. Check to see if and
make sure you configured your devices correctly and on the same wifi
