Is there a way to use the CEC feature of Chromecast to turn on and off connected devices, perhaps even volume and input channels? It'd be nice to have this scheduled, or synced with alarms.

Is it possible to add widgets on the Chromecast screen?I can have it display a weathermap from Windy.com, which is cool to have on the projector, but I was thinking it sell more units if it could show more info about my computers functionality, house...
