I unplugged the Chromecast from the HDMI port and plugged in back in the
same port and now donnot have the sound issue. This was a suggestion
from someone further up in the thread.
I am having the same issue. I have to fully restart the Chromecast every
time my TV is turned back on. Doesn’t matter the app or the length of
time. Randomly started yesterday (5/3/2023) and continuing today. No
