Yes, I'd like to see the new cams integrated with SmartThings as much as the older Nest cams were. Motion alerts on cams should be sent to SmartThings so it can turn on the lights and whatever other automations needed.

Thanks again. Hopefully the new "Matter" standard will solve these issues of interoperability.

Thanks EmptyNester! That is a much better response than what I get when contacting Google directly. I was ready to purchase about $700 of Nest gear and I guess I'll look at other options now. Just so frustrating that you spend more money on the lates...
