Alex - how will this new information be shared with other Nest Users? The Android application hasn't been updated since December. This is probably something that can be solved in the application, or at least make it an option.

Juni - see the potential "fix" below. This is something that needs to be documented.Setting Nest app to "unrestricted" battery usage.

Saw that you had tried earlier.  But at least it's working now.

Sparkster- check my post below. Setting the App to "unrestricted" in the power Optimization settings fixed my issue.

Swal83 - did you see my post from Monday.  Mine is working fine again.
