Thanks. It works fine now. As I suspected the problem was that the thermostat adjustment was part of a google routine I had in the morning . I didn’t have it set at 72 in the routine but it somehow turned on higher than I set in the routine for some ...

Thanks.. I think it was that in a routine (that I forgot about) and which also set the temperature at some sort of threshold range and not the exact.l (for some reason it does that, not sure why) I am still testing. But I think that was it! Thanks.
