Update-My Google Home App had the latest update.The one that did the trick was the FACTORY RESET. Problem solved.Didn't need to uninstall and reinstall Google Home. Thanx for you help

Jeran, that is the problem. My Google Home / Chromecast does NOT show the version. It is BLANK underneath the heading of the room I'm in. Thanx for reviewing this email. I'm using a Samsung S10 phone, if that has ANY bearing on the blank screen.

I uploaded the image through my Gmail. All it shows is "Family TV Settings" then it's blank underneath.
