Check your wi-fi router settings and check "AP Isolation" is not
enabled. 1st Gen Chromecast is 2.4GHz only, if AP Isolation is on and
your phone is on 5GHz wi-fi, it won't see the Chromecast.
The 1st Gen Chromecast supports only 2.4GHz wifi - so check your network
and device supports that else you won't be able to see or use the
