No sound on cast programs

Dear allI have a tried and failed to cast with sound. The picture is fine, but nothing is being broadcast on the sound side. I have restarted TV, rebooted Chromecast, unplugged and replugged the Chromecast. Now at a loss what to do.ThanksMarcus
