What I did was restart Internet router and extenders (ifs you have any), restart thermostat then restart phone and it worked. Hope this helps.

I didn't have to do any of that. Just reset the stat that wasn't connecting

I'm having the same issues as stated. Funny thing is I have 2 stats (1 upstairs, 1 down) and the router is also upstairs. The stat that's closest to the router is the one I'm having issues with showing offline. I'm using Android phone btw. Any fix ye...
