The title describes my problem exactly. I don't know why you think it's
something else. I get no audio when I cast with Android devices, but I
do get audio when I cast from a Macbook Air. I get video with both - no
sound with Android.

As I mentioned, when I cast from my Macbook Air, I get audio. When I
cast from my Pixel 7a, I get no audio. When I try to update Google
Photos, Google Play tells me that it's the latest version. Any other
thoughts?
