This fixed my problem for using it with Spotify as an audio streamer.

Thanks Kelan,I am using my Chromecast as a Chromecast Audio. So I really only want to see it as a [always on] device in Spotify, no need to be plugged into the TV.Hopefully this developer setting will fix it.thanks.
