It shouldn’t. I never noticed that in the last 8.5 years of having Nest
thermostats… the Air handlers were not impacted by eco mode. Eco mode
only refers to temperature settings so that they are a bit higher in the
summer and lower in the winter.
That happened to me once and I figured out that for some reason when I
had changed something on my Nest app, it reactivated an old schedule.
Check to see if your thermostat is following a schedule of temperatures
of any sort during the day.
