I was in the same situation a few months back. 4 dots nothing else. I no
way to reset etc. It was out of warranty so Google shrugged their
shoulders and told me good luck and sent me to the store to buy a new
one.
I used Google Home for years. I also feel less and less
responsive/accurate action or none at all from them. I have 4. The
