Make sure all other cameras are turned off and then you can attempt to
connect a new camera. “Turn off camera” by selecting the “…” icon. This
would be different than “remove device”. I did not have to remove
devices or create a new home.
I agree this is a bug and/or an issue as a second camera gets stuck on
“assisting device”. But I found an easier solution than creating new
homes. Just connect your first camera as seamless as they sell it, then
