I purchased the most recent version of the google nest thermostat. When
installing, I have an e wire with no home in the nest. I read in another
forum I could plug it into W. Is this accurate? Below is a picture of
the old thermostat
Great! Thank you. There is an unlabeled blue wire that is tucked into
the wall. I assume that is the c wire. Also, do you recommend capping
the e wire and not using it at all? Thanks for the time!
