Access from Google TV (Chromecast) to DLNA Server via Wifi

Is there a way to access pictures and videos stored on a DLNA Server (Router) in my Wifi directly from Chromecast rather than accessing the pictures on the server via smartphone and streaming them from the smartphone on Chromecast?

Just read somewhere that Chromecast does not have a DLNA Client. So I always need to use my smartphone
