Google Nest Community

I’ve wanted to switch away from Nest but sadly it’s that **bleep** Nest Protect that keeps the thermostat on the wall. How has no one else made one like it?

So you require us to switch to a Google account for our Nest devices but don’t support all the devices in the Home app? Thought it was cool you still supported the Nest app but apparently it’s just a requirement  THIS THING HAS BEEN OUT FOR LIKE 10 ...
