I just installed a brand new wired nest protect. It had been beeping
every minute and complaining about low batteries even after replacing
them with new L91’s. I also made sure the firmware was updated to the
latest. This is so frustrating.
I’ve done the factory reset a few times and it still beeps with messages
with a low battery warning. With known good batteries. I wound up
exchanging it for a new one and it works fine.
