Yep! The safety temp will run regardless of the heat set temp. If the
thermostat is set to off, the garage will stay at 35. If it’s set to on,
it’ll heat to whatever you’ve set it to.
The set temp will not go below 50 BUT you can set a safety temp which
overrides the thermostat all together. In other words, if the thermostat
is set to off and safety temp is turned on, Nest won’t let the temp drop
