Gen 1 drop cam mic will not turn off.

Gen 1 drop cam mic will not turn off. I have a gen 2 drop cam that I can turn mic on and off no problem. I have done everything I can to get it to shut off. Everything. Anyone have the same issue. I just want to live stream with no sound. Help.
