Ethernet adapter working perfectly, so didn't even need to use mobile hotspot.Always ran power off one of the TV USB ports, so I didn't even see before that it has an ethernet port on the "power brick"!Thanks! Finally online again. 

Didn't think of ethernet adapter before, so will try that.

Yes, I have done some of the resets "hard" using the built-in button.When I ignore country warning and continue, it typically doesn't want to connect to the wi-fi, although it's the same one it used for 4 years with no problem.
