I asked Google wifi support for a replacement my device, complicated
process asking me for my GPay before they sent a replacement, (day 1) I
am still on the wait to hear from them, the wifi point or base
definitely underperformed/became faulty losing...

the set up wisard was saying it was too close to the wifi base but being
the place I had a socket and it looked useful I left it there and ever

That seems to be more directly about the notifications which I figured
out on another topic but the scenario here is that we should get a call
on the phone option if someone rang the doorbell
I have the latest (battery) version which is in fact wired and for
what you told me it is the same I simply get a notification on my phone
that someone called, you can easily not even notice that, and since
there's a bug on the notifications notify...
For the price it costs I feel it should do that (at least that), at
first I thought this would be the default behavior, why would it not
call your phone?? it makes no sense at all!! all cheap brands do that
out of the box.This doorbell is a total rip...
