But the Chromecast is directly connected into HDMI. How would an
extension solve this? However, I'm having better results as of now since

Haha! One thing to try is changing the audio settings. Disabling Dolby
Plus helps a little bit again it's silly we have to find workarounds
when an update can be pushed...
When I spoke to support about this the other day they didn't listen to
the fact I had a fix and that it was documented on this forum (I sent
them the link). I was told that it was my internet!
