Whatever update they did to the firmware recently put the whammy on a
lot of wired cameras. I have two floodlights and one inexplicably lost
the light icon first; got stuck with a red tint in the day and abysmal
night vision for a week all while sayi...
The new firmware update recently rolled out is draining many a battery
and messing with image quality. I was just doom scrolling through the
Floodlight threads trying to figure out why my wired camera is flat out
DEAD.
I had a red tint issue during the day and abysmal night vision image.
Started two weeks ago in addition to having my wired camera drain and
die. If Brad comes around offering help, it's a Bot.
BTW: if Brad pops up offering help for your frustrating issue, it's a
bot. As is his superior it gets forwarded to. People have found a real
customer service person over the phone somehow, but I haven't got that
far yet.
Same issue after a year of working fine. We had a bit of a cold snap in
my area but for some reason it only affected one out of three wired
cameras. Drained completely after struggling with a red picture tint in
the day and almost useless infrared at...
