GOOGLE NEST - AUSTRALIA - NEST WILL NOT CONNECT TO MY WIFI NETWORK

So I bought a Google Nest but through set up - after the QR Code recognition the Nest Router refuses to connect to my WIFI network and my modem. Message: Connection Failed. Any ideas?
