I share your pain, and have the exact same situation. I have come up
with a workaround that isn't perfect, but helps. It does require the use
of a temperature sensor, so one would need the Learning Thermostat (or
the "midrange", discontinued thermost...
These sorts of lousy "non-responses" are a bummer. The answer has
nothing to do with the original question. Better to have no replies than
an (AI-generated?) one which insults your intelligence and makes the
user think that nobody is listening.
