Thanks for the reply. We have never had the chime enabled. It makes our
dogs go crazy when someone rings the bell. I don’t think what is
happening to our doorbell involves the chime. Maybe not the battery
either.
I have a similar issue. We just had our original nest hello gen 1
doorbell die. Would not charge etc. It was about 6 years old. Replaced
it just after Xmas with new (still gen 1) Nest Hello Doorbell. Same
modem and router setup for 3 years. No change...
