Right, I tried addressing it in English and it works even though it is
set to German. I am sure they have already started working on the issue.

Hi and greetings from Germany! I have exactly the same problem. Seems to
be a problem on Google's end. I tried resetting all my devices and
relinking my hue account - that did not change anything.
