Google thermostat won’t pair to Google home app. Every time I try to
connect it gives me a reading “pairing failed” with no remedy. I have
taken all the remediation steps suggested to no avail.
I should include, I deleted the home and created a new one, uninstalled
and re-installed the app, reset and factory reset the devices. Now I am
locked out of both, with both saying I have to use the app, with pairing
failing.
