Factory reset worked. Yep it's a pain and it didn't work straight away
either. It started to work after about 3hrs. So frustrating this entire
experience
This exact problem is still occurring for me new Pixel 8, nest doorbell
wired. very disappointed. Support told me that its known issue with
Pixel 8s. My partner has a pixel 8, works fine on her device.
