Just tried a web search on my Nest Hub and it is working perfectly!
Seems to have been a silent update. If it is not available for everyone,
I opted in for the beta. Does not look to be a beta update though.
The only answer is a software update by Google Nest team. They have not
updated us on if it is is in the works or not. Having some basic
programming knowledge, it should be easy and should not be long to issue

You have one software bug and you think it is garbage and want to return
it? Yes it is an annoying bug but aside from that, it is still a very
useful device for streaming tv/sports, music, podcasts, and more.
Same issue here on a Canadian purchased Nest Hub. I have had mine since
