Google Home contains all of the settings you would need.

Mine is happily plugged into a Nest WiFi Point unit which connects wirelessly to the Nest WiFi Router upstairs. No issues to report.

Here Google say to keep the network at 5 devices or below https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/7182840?hl=en-GB#:~:text=Maximum%20number%20of%20Wifi%20routers,devices%20in%20a%20single%20network.

A good example is the Garmin Fenix 6X Pro. Despite its flagship status it will only see 2.4ghz networks and completely fails to find my Nest network.
