I was also able to successfully install mine after trying on an android instead of Apple device. Hoping there is a patch available in everyone’s future.

And add me to the list of "standing by". Have tried Google Home using ipad, iphone, and have also reset device multiple times and rebooting router and wifi. At a dead end.
