I never had a Nest account. Nevertheless, the app assumes I did. Inside the Nest app, I log in to Google using gmail just fine. Then the system askes for Nest credentials, which I never had. Now I am stuck too. It's not apparent that anyone from Goog...

Worse yet, I never had a Nest login. Nevertheless, the app assumes I did. I login with gmail fine, but without a Nest account to migrate, there is no option to proceed.

Perhaps your Nest thermostat is a different generation from mine ("red light"). Have you tried changing the AAA batteries?

Lemme guess...your problem is that you bought the Nest thermostat yesterday--or at least after 2019. The registration procedure assumes that you have a Nest account to migrate. Because you don't, you are stuck. Same for me. Nest Hub, four Nest Audios...
