I posted above with the Sony Bravia with Google TV, I am working this morning Aug 18. No obvious updates installed but services appear to be restored

2 year old Sony Bravia XR X90J with Google TV built-in broken with this update and not fixed by factory erase / reset or uninstall of recent Google TV update from Settings > Apps > System Apps
