Is 76 temp on cool mode supposed to be this cold??

I’m like freezing my butt off at night on 76 ac/cool mode, shouldn’t it be rather normal temp? Don’t want to have the heater on either cause in Houston the temperature ramps up pretty quickly in the morning. Windows are closed.
