Very frustrating that this has not been fixed by Google. The fix that worked for me was to disconnect the Google TV Streamer and connect my old Chromecast with Google TV. Of course, this a fix out of desperation. Help Google!

Same issue with my Denon AVR. My Google TV Streamer only passes Dolby Surround. I'm switching back to Chromecast with Google TV till this is resolved.

BritBox apparently removed their app from the play store. Hopefully, this was done because they are working on a fix that will be available soon.

Same here. I tried everything and can't get BritBox to work. I reconnected my Chromecast on another HDMI port on Denon receiver just for BritBox.
