Google Nest Community

This post is coming up when I searched for the solution online. I suspect the same is true of others looking for a solution - disappointing Google don't even recognise it as their problem, but the prominence of this post in search queries suggests it...

I have this issue too.  It's a real shame - the limitation here isn't really the 3rd party speakers, it's really a Google limitation. 
