To be honest, I have no idea. I just checked and there's the option for
dolby digital + and says that it only works via ARC (HDMI) to an
external compatible device. I'm guessing that's what you call
passthrough... It happens only with the headphones,...
But my tv does support dolby sound, I don't think it has anything to do
with the tv, it's a bug on the chromecast software. I have never needed
to do anything like what you mentioned with an apple tv. OK the apple tv
has other bugs of its own but not...
Yes, I tried this. But other apps' sound stopped working when I disabled
the surround sound, so I have to keep enabling and disabling this option
depending on what apps I am using... the main points are, first, thatall
this "tricks" should be a tempo...
I have the same issue, no sound with Bluetooth headphones. Applies for
Netflix and Disney plus. Netflix streaming stutters constantly on top of
that. The turning off of the surround sound trick worked for the apple
TV app. But not for the rest. Awful...
